Genesis Homes warrants against defects caused by faulty workmanship and materials not in conformance with approved construction industry standards. The limited warranty Genesis Homes gives to Buyers expires one year from the date of closing. There is an additional limited warranty furnished to Genesis Homes Buyers through a third party insurer, The Home Residential Warranty Corporation of Texas.

Excerpt from March 19, 2003, letter Genesis Homes received from Donna Foose, Registrations Administrator of RWC/HOME of Texas:

"HOME OF TEXAS is pleased to inform you that effective March 19, 2003, your rate has been changed. This rate decrease is based upon our experience with your company, the number of homes built vs. the number of complaints and claims filed against your company, and your financial strength. Because of your consistent dedication to the quality and service of your homes, we look forward to your continued patronage in our program."
